The Siemens S70 is a Light Rail train, specifically for fast and quick transport from one place to another. Its top speed can go to a whopping 103 kp/h. It has a curved front and end, and can couple another Siemens S70. It is powered by either overhead wires or third rail.

But, there is also a variant to the Siemens S70 that is used for trams/streetcars. This version still uses the overhead wires, but is specifically designed for streets hence its name.

The Siemens S70 is used not only in the US, but used in France owned by SNCF.
